Masayuki Kikuchi the executive chef
1962: Born in Sapporo Hokkaido, Japan
1977: Trained at Azuma-Sushi (Established 1875) legendary Hokkaido’s sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine restaurant.
1986: Moved to London’s West End to open new horizons as a sushi chef at Saga restaurant
1992: Head Chef at Saga restaurant
1994: Appointed UK representative of Sake Sommeliers Institute International of Japan.
1995: Appointed Chairman Overseas of Sake Sommeliers Institute International of Japan.
1997: Certified as Sake Sommelier by the Sake Service Institute Japan.
1998: Founded Kikuchi Restaurant as Head Chef and Sushi Chef.
2007: Appointed “Honorable Sake Sommelier” by the Sake Service Institute Japan.
Currently supported by many regular customers and Master Kikuchi’s fans.
